FIA Formula E – new season begins 24 October

The second season of the FIA Formula E all-electric car racing series debuts on Saturday, October 24 in China.  Mouser Electronics is partnering with Jay Penske’s Dragon Racing Formula E team, which boasts considerable talent,  including Loic Duval, winner of the 24 Hours of Le Mans in 2013 and European Formula Master Champion Jerome D’Ambrosio. Car numbers 6 and 7 and team equipment will be sporting prominent Mouser branding, along with that of Mouser’s valued supplier partner, Molex.

“Formula E is on the cutting edge of auto racing technology,” said Todd McAtee, Vice President of Americas, Business Development for Mouser Electronics. “We are thrilled to partner with Dragon Racing and support this high-tech sport that is paving the way for future automotive technologies. High-tech auto racing provides the perfect platform to raise awareness for Mouser and our industry-leading partner, Molex.”

For the occasion, two christian louboutin styles – low-top Louis and Aurélien – a mid-top mixing streetwear influences and Italian craftsmanship – were customised in the spirit of the collection in a unique combination of mixed materials. The pristine white canvas of each sneaker splashed with a bold red, seen on Christian Louboutin’s iconic soles and also as a recurring thread in ICOSAE’s collections. Christian Louboutin’s masterful, minimal Papal boot also made an appearance in black leather. This is the second season collaborating for the two brands.

“We are proud to have Mouser as our partner for Season 2,” said Jay Penske, Dragon Racing’s Founder and Owner. “In the same way our technical team works with the drivers to win on the race track, Mouser works with its manufacturer partners to provide the newest products and technologies for its engineering customers, helping them race to market faster – Formula E is a perfect fit.”
